firenze ti amo
in january 2020, wolfgang ludes had a photography exhibition in florence. over 900 people attended the opening.
only a few weeks later he found himself in the eerily empty streets of the unesco protected city center of florence, able to walk around only to take out his dog filou. he shot photographs of a completely different scenario than the one he recalled, depicting a dystopian panorama of florence that nobody had ever seen before and started sharing the photographs with a small group of friends in florence and around the world. they all felt connected and wanted to do something useful with these unbelievable photographs of a beautiful and unseen florence by making them available for a charitable cause.
on this site we are happy to share with you the results, a limited edition of photographic art prints, available in different sizes, each size in an edition of 30.
your edition photograph will be printed by our professional art printing lab -center chrome- and will be shipped to you well protected.
as soon as beautiful florence will be open again, you can view some of these images also in an exhibition at the portrait hotel in florence next to the ponte vecchio.
part of the proceeds from firenze ti amo sales will be donated to the misericordia firenze to support their work during covid-19.
please click each photograph for size options and purchase.
and please return to this site, photos will be added regularly.
